Pricing and billing
What do I get for free?
Three AI-moderated interviews with your own people, the full analysis and a cited study report. No card needed. The Free plan also includes 3 hours of uploads and 50 questions to Eva a month, and 1 Swarm run a month.
Do I need a plan to buy interviews?
No. Interviews cost the same on every plan, Free included: $10 with your own people, $39 with everyday people from our panel, $99 with professionals. A plan adds seats, upload hours, Swarm runs and the API. See Billing & plans.
When am I charged for interviews?
Once, when you launch the study. You see the total before you launch. See Launch & cost.
Do you offer refunds?
No. All purchases are final. Interviews are charged when you launch a study, and nothing is refunded if fewer people take part. Cancelling a plan stops the next renewal; it doesn't refund the current period.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Any time, from Settings → Billing. Yearly plans get two months free.
Studies and recruiting
Can I interview my own customers?
Yes. Every study has a participant link you can send to your customers or users. It's $10 an interview, and your first three are free. See Recruiting.
What languages can interviews run in?
Interviews run in 40+ languages. You set the language for each study. The AI interviewer asks and listens in that language, and participants see the interview room in it where a translation exists.
How long does an interview take?
You choose 15, 30 or 45 minutes for AI interviews. Participants can stop at any time.
What if a session is no good?
Flag it for replacement from the Sessions tab. It leaves the study report and doesn't count toward your target. See Replacements.
Do study reports appear on their own?
No. When you have enough sessions, open the Study report tab and click Generate study report. Regenerate it as more come in. See Study reports.
Eva
Can Eva spend money without asking?
No. Launching a study, inviting people, starting a Swarm run and confirming a finding all show an approval card with the total, and nothing happens until someone with edit access confirms. See Approvals.
Where does Eva get its answers?
From your workspace: studies, sessions, clips, study reports, Swarm runs and Library files, and, if you turn them on, the web, academic papers and Reddit. It cites what it uses.
Swarm
Is Swarm available to everyone?
Yes, on every plan: Free includes 1 run a month, Pro 5 and Team 25. After that, each extra run costs $2, and you confirm it before the run starts. If Swarm isn't switched on for your workspace yet, you can still set up a run; it's saved as a draft. See Swarm.
Can agents test a site I don't own?
No. You verify the site with a meta tag, a file or a DNS record before agents run, and you must own it or be authorised to test it.
Data and security
Where is our data hosted?
With established cloud infrastructure providers in the EU and the US. The app servers and new files are in the EU; older files are in the US. See Security & privacy.
Can you complete our security questionnaire?
Yes. Email it to [email protected], and ask for a data processing agreement if you need one.
